Beautiful beach access.

We were deeply disappointed with the service staff during our stay. It was our 26th wedding anniversary, and it felt like our special occasion was completely overlooked. From a mix-up at the Chi Spa to being seated late at the restaurant, it was frustrating to deal with one issue after another on what was supposed to be a memorable trip. We ended up leaving after just one night because it simply didn't meet our expectations.

The kids' club had great activities that kept my children entertained. Rooms had a bit of a musty smell. Good selection of restaurants and a beautiful beach for relaxing. The service felt overwhelmed during peak hours, making it hard to get attention.

The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, especially the Al Waha Superior Sea View room. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety, particularly for vegetarian options which were delicious. The staff's attentiveness and willingness to make our stay enjoyable truly stood out.

We loved the unique water play area designed for kids. my daughter couldn't get enough of the lazy river! The breakfast buffet was a highlight, featuring fresh and varied options. A car is perfect for exploring nearby attractions, making this resort a fantastic family retreat.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Shangri-La. The facilities offered fun activities, and the beaches were beautiful. Though some aspects felt dated, the cozy atmosphere and attentive staff more than made up for it. A great spot for a relaxing getaway.

The beach and pool area at the Shangri-La were stunning. Clean, calm, and perfect for relaxation. Loved the lazy river. it was a highlight of our stay. The housekeeping staff, particularly Mani and Abinav, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They were attentive and always available when we needed something. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the quality was consistently good. Dining options throughout the resort were varied, though getting dinner reservations was tricky. many restaurants were fully booked. Service at lunch was a bit slower than expected. The arrival experience was frustrating. dealing with parking and accessing reception with a baby and luggage was challenging. After expressing our concerns, management was more helpful, which improved our overall experience. The location being outside the city is a bit of a downside, especially for those wanting easy access to Muscat's attractions. Still, the experience at the resort made it worth it.

Amazing location and very friendly staff.

The pools throughout the property are impressive, with clear areas for adults and kids along with the unique lazy river. The beach, well-kept and clean, offers stunning views, and there are plenty of activities for both families and adults alike.

Upon arrival, we encountered a frustrating parking situation with limited access to the reception, making it particularly tricky with luggage and a baby. Dining options were limited, as the better restaurants were often booked up, leading us to rely on room service more than we had intended. While breakfast had good variety, service was inconsistent with drink orders taking multiple requests to arrive, which can dampen the morning mood.

The Al Waha Superior King room was awesome! Super comfy bed, tons of nice details like the stunning bathroom with great toiletries. Seriously, you could pack light and be fine. Everything was clean and well kept. Only downside? The view wasn’t spectacular but who cares when the inside feels so good?
